The toolkit consists of an information booklet, a poster, 6 thematic response guides, a terminology guide and a CD ROM. The information booklet contains useful information for community members on various aspects of HIV and AIDS and how to participate in the national response. The booklet provides background information on the HIV and AIDS, describes the national response to the epidemic and outlines the role that the community plays. It also discusses in detail the priority thematic areas of the national response as outlined in the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Framework (NASF) 2006-2010 and highlights the role played by the community.
